In August 2023, we embarked on an exhilarating three-day adventure at Campingplatz am Rhein, and it was nothing short of spectacular! Nestled alongside the majestic Rhine, with only a narrow road and a fence separating us from the river, our evenings were filled with enchanting strolls along the water's edge, marveling at the pleasure boats gliding by and soaking in the breathtaking views.
The campsite's facilities were top-notch, boasting its own lively bar and restaurant, a refreshing swimming pool, and impeccably clean toilets and showers. For biking enthusiasts, the nearby area offered easy cycling routes, perfect for exploring the local scenery.
But the real thrill came from the plethora of nearby attractions waiting to be discovered! Whether by bike or motorhome, there were endless adventures to be had. From the charming Kirschenskulptur - Kulturufer Bingen, just a 10-minute ride away, to the picturesque Englischer Rosengarten and historic Klopp Castle or Niederwald Monument, every destination was brimming with excitement. And let's not forget the tranquil Hildegarten for a leisurely picnic, the scenic Mouse Tower and park for a gentle stroll, or the majestic ltville Castle and elegant Biebrich Palace for a taste of grandeur. With so much to see and do just a stone's throw away, our stay at Campingplatz am Rhein was an unforgettable journey filled with thrills and discoveries at every turn!

In August 2023, we made a delightful pit stop at Camping Müllerwiesen while journeying south, and it was a day to remember! Nestled in the enchanting region of Enzklösterle, the site was surrounded by rolling hills and lush green fields, creating a serene and picturesque backdrop.
Although a bit off the beaten path, the adventure was well worth it. To explore the local attractions, we hopped back into our motorhome and set off on a thrilling excursion. Just 25km away, the magnificent Schwarzenbach Dam awaited us, offering stunning views and a perfect spot for a scenic drive.
We also ventured to the Burgbach Waterfall and the All Saints Waterfalls, both around the same distance, and each promising a refreshing and breathtaking experience. On the way, we discovered the charming Gaishöll Waterfalls, adding another gem to our journey. For those with more time, a visit to the elegant town of Baden-Baden was the perfect way to cap off the adventure.
Camping Müllerwiesen was the ideal starting point for a day packed with natural beauty and exploration, making our brief stay an unforgettable part of our trip!

In August 2023, we indulged in a thrilling three-day stay at Campingplatz Seepark Fliesshorn, and it was an absolute dream! Situated on the edge of the mesmerizing Obersee, the campsite itself was a gem. But what truly elevated our experience were the nearby attractions that beckoned us to explore.
From the enchanting Island Mainau to the historic Meersburg Castle, the scenic Seeburg Park, the impressive Mangturm Tower, and the evocative Ruine Honberg, there was no shortage of adventure. Island Mainau, in particular, stole the spotlight with its exquisite gardens and captivating displays. While the entrance fee may seem steep at over 25 euros, the immaculate upkeep and breathtaking beauty made it well worth the visit. Whether you're a gardening enthusiast or simply appreciate stunning landscapes, this island paradise promises to impress.
Back at the campsite, while the pitches weren't expansive, the facilities were spotless, the staff welcoming, and the proximity to the lake unbeatable. During peak season, securing a prime spot might be a bit competitive, but the clean toilets and friendly atmosphere more than made up for it.
